Revelation 15:1-2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Revelation 15 in context

Scripture Focus

1And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.
2And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
Revelation 15:1-2

Biblical Context

A heavenly sign announces victory over oppressive powers. The victors stand on a sea of glass, harps in hand, worshiping God.

Neville's Inner Vision

These verses reveal that what you see in the sky of Revelation is truly the state of your own consciousness. The 'beast' and its marks are the conditioned patterns you identify with; the 'last plagues' are the purifications of thought that burn away fear-based habits. The 'sea of glass mingled with fire' represents your mind clarified by trials—the glass shows your clarity of awareness, the fire refines your desires. By choosing to identify with the I AM rather than the old self, you overcome the illusion of separation and stand on the sea, harboring harps as the music of God within. The 'wrath' of God is the energy of transformation that accompanies reforming your inner world; when you persist in the stance of the perceiver, you are the victor now. Then your inner worship becomes the outward reality you live as: harmony, resilience, and confident expression of your true self. Do not await a future victory—declare you have already overcome and let your feeling-state incarnate that fact.

Practice This Now

Assume you have already overcome the lower self and stand on the sea of glass. Feel the harps within your hands and declare, I AM consciousness now—victory is your natural state.
