Revelation 14:4-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Revelation 14 in context

Scripture Focus

4These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
Revelation 14:4-5

Biblical Context

The passage presents a group of minds purified from defilement who follow the Lamb and are offered as firstfruits to God, with speech reflecting their spotless inner state.

Neville's Inner Vision

Behold the vision as a map of your inner state. The 'virgins' are not literal persons but a mind unmixed by lower appetites—consciousness that refuses to barter its purity for appearances. The 'Lamb' is your own higher self, the inner Christ you follow inwardly wherever he leads, even through the seeming desert of circumstance. By choosing to be the 'firstfruits' unto God and the Lamb, you announce that your awareness has shifted from mere surface thoughts to the radiance of a single, governing I AM. The line 'in their mouth was found no guile' is telling you that your words must reflect your inner activity; when you truly dwell as the state of purity, there is no double talk, no feigned concerns, only the truth of being. Before the throne of God is not a place but your own awakened consciousness—the seat of perception where every image is accepted or denied by your inner consent. Your imagination is the instrument by which this transformation happens; what you assent to within, you witness without.

Practice This Now

Assume the state of being pure and following the inner Lamb now. In the next moment, revise any claim of impurity in your mind and feel it real that your words reflect your higher state.
