Biblical Context
A figure like the Son of Man sits on a white cloud with a golden crown and a sharp sickle. An angel proclaims that the time has come to reap, and the earth is ripe for harvest.
Neville's Inner Vision
From the Neville Goddard perspective, the cloud is your pure state of consciousness, the arena where ideas take form. The Son of Man embodies your Christ-self—awareness crowned with realization. The sickle represents a decisive act of belief, not violence: you cut away old conditions by choosing a new inner state. When the angel says, the time is come for thee to reap, you are being invited to recognize that your interior state has matured enough to yield its fruits. The earth you reap is your life molded by your dominant imagination. The harvest comes not from external force but from a steadfast shift in how you imagine and identify yourself. By holding to the feeling of the wish fulfilled and living from the end, you align your inner state with its external manifestations. Reaping occurs as you persist in the I AM, act from the end, and allow reality to echo your inner harmony.
Practice This Now
Try this now: sit quietly, close your eyes, and sense the I AM presence at your center. Declare internally that you are the one who reaps your life, then envision yourself on the cloud with a sickle, cutting away a limiting belief and feeling the reality of your wish fulfilled already yours.
