Biblical Context

Revelation 13:5 speaks of a figure given a mouth to utter great things and blasphemies, with power for forty-two months.

Neville's Inner Vision

In Neville's terms, the 'mouth' is your inner state of consciousness—the habitual self-talk that shapes experience. 'Great things' are the exalted stories you live by; 'blasphemies' are fear-born assertions that deny the presence and power of God within. The line that power is given for a season shows that such authority arises from your own belief, attention, and imagination. By recognizing that your I AM is the true source of speech, you can interrupt this egoic rhythm. Begin to identify with the speaker as the I AM, and revise every blasphemous or limited utterance into statements of truth, gratitude, and divine presence. When you feel the self importuning, repeat an assertion of your innate Godhood until your inner mouth aligns with blessing rather than fear. Through this shift, the imagined reign of the ego shortens and a new reality, born of God within, begins to emerge.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare, 'I AM within me speaks now; my inner speech is God-breathed.' Sit with the feeling until it becomes your living reality, then quietly revise any negative self-talk into truthful, blessed statements.
