Read Revelation 13 in context

Scripture Focus

17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Revelation 13:17-18

Biblical Context

Revelation 13:17–18 speaks of buying or selling being tied to a mark, name, or number and invites wise discernment to interpret the beast’s number, 666.

Neville's Inner Vision

To Neville, the beast is not a distant empire but a stubborn state of mind that believes life must be bought with fear and secured by external signs. The mark, the name, and the number are inner identifications we wear—habits of thinking, feeling, and resisting. Wisdom here means observing the patterns, counting the repeated fears and cravings, and realizing they arise from within, not from some external ruler. The number 666, the number of a man, shows that the beast is a man-made construct born in the mind when we identify with limitation rather than the I AM. When you refuse to consent to that inner economy and align with the I AM, the power of the old script wanes. The true market is consciousness itself; you buy and sell not with coin but with belief, and you retain abundance by recognizing your inherent oneness with God. In this light, the verse becomes an invitation to awaken, count, and choose instead to live as the unconditioned awareness you already are.

Practice This Now

Assume the I AM as your true identity and revise the sense of lack. Close your eyes, feel abundance as real now, and replace each fear pattern with the simple affirmation: I AM.
