Inner Mirror and Deceptive Miracles

Revelation 13:14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Revelation 13 in context

Scripture Focus

14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
Revelation 13:14

Biblical Context

The verse describes a deceiver who uses impressive signs to persuade the earth-dwellers to fashion an image of the beast; the danger lies in worshiping appearances rather than inner truth.

Neville's Inner Vision

Fear not; the beast is a state of consciousness, and the miracles are mere signs used to persuade you to look outside yourself. The command to make an image to the beast is your habit of worshipping form—money, status, power—over the living I AM within. The sword-wound marks old beliefs cut into the mind, yet the beast persists because the mind clings to appearances. Do not be fooled by spectacular acts; the world you see is a projection of your inner state. When you align with the I AM, miracles lose control; you generate reality by inner assumption, and the image dissolves as you revise it. Your true allegiance is to Life within, not to external images. The deception is undone by the quiet certainty that you are the I AM, and that Life moves within you, not outside you.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes and affirm, 'I am the I AM.' Revise any image of the beast into a living symbol of your inner Life, and feel it real as you breathe.
