Revelation 12:2

Biblical Context

Revelation 12:2 depicts a woman in labor, an image of inner birth and the intense anticipation of delivery.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you, the she who is with child is your I AM, the newborn idea waiting for expression. The travail is not outside suffering but the inner tension between your old state and the new realization. The pain of delivery marks the moment when consciousness surrenders to the truth that what you seek is already yours in imagination. As you dwell in the feeling of the fulfilled birth, you align with the state that births it into form. The outer waiting, trials, and longing are simply the echo of the inner struggle to become aware of a new self. When you assume you are delivered now, the 'mother' in you ceases to fear and begins to rejoice, for the kingdom of heaven is not coming later but is present as your awareness. The future you hope for arises as you persist in the vivified assumption, feeling the weight of the child as reality and letting the old conditions dissolve in the light of I AM.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly and assume the delivered state now. Feel the joy as if the child is already in your arms, and rest in that feeling until it lingers.
