Revelation 12:13

Biblical Context

When the dragon is cast to the earth, he persecutes the woman who bore the man child. The verse presents outer pressure arising around the birth of a new spiritual state within.

Neville's Inner Vision

Notice that the dragon is cast unto the earth, an inner sentry, a state of fear that follows the birth of a higher self. The woman who brought forth the man child is your living birth of Christ consciousness, the new way you now claim as real. Persecution, then, is not a distant enemy but the resistance of your old self to the birth of this new state. The earth into which the dragon is cast is the ground of your own awareness, where images and thoughts play out, and the drama occurs inside, not outside. To see with a Neville vision, you do not battle dragons; you adjust the states of consciousness you inhabit. The moment you acknowledge the man child as already here, the dragon's persecution wanes, for you have identified with the victorious state you sought. This inner warfare is to choose to dwell in the feeling that the birth has occurred, and the outer pressures lose their charge as you redefine what is real.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, breathe, and assume the new state as already real the man child the Christ within. Feel this state as your present reality and revise fear by silently declaring that you are this state now, letting that feeling wash away the dragon pressure.
