Inner Witness Power
Revelation 11:5-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verses describe two beings with divine authority who act to defend truth. Their power over fire, rain, waters, and plagues symbolizes the inner authority of conviction.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within my awareness, those witnesses are not strangers in a distant prophecy; they are states of consciousness I can assume. The 'fire from the mouth' is the fiery affirmation of truth that consumes every trace of fear and justifies my claims in the I AM. When they threaten a foe, I learn that opposition is only a belief resisting my realization, and the act of 'killing' is the passing away of that belief as I acknowledge a higher reality. The power to shut heaven, to rain not in the days of prophecy, and to turn waters to blood speaks of my capacity to control the inflow of inspiration, emotion, and habit by sustained attention to the imagined end. By living in the certainty of the end, I render storms irrelevant, and I transform fluid states into clarity. The plagues are the disciplined consequences of a mind that will not entertain contradiction. All this is available whenever I align my consciousness with the I AM and let imagination legislate reality.
Practice This Now
Assume the state of the witnesses now; speak your truth with the fire of certainty and revise any belief that contradicts it. Feel-it-real by closing your eyes and imagining such power swelling within you, then observe your inner weather shift.
