Scripture Focus

18And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
Revelation 11:18

Biblical Context

The passage describes a moment when conflict and correction come; the dead are judged, rewards go to prophets and the faithful, and the forces that harm the earth are confronted.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the inner theatre of consciousness, 'nations' are your conflicting states of mind, and 'wrath' is the clinging habit of old selfhood that resists a new ruling idea. The 'time of the dead' is the awakening of dormant possibilities—your neglected feelings and visions—standing before the inner judge. The verse promises reward to the prophets and to the saints, to those who fear thy name—your own higher expressions that have been neglected or dimmed by doubt. When you attend to them in imagination, you acknowledge their validity and feed them with attention, while the destroyers of the earth—destructive habits, guilt, and inertia—are dissolved through the creative act of revision. This is not punishment from without, but a turning of your attention toward the good you have already carried within. By realizing that you are the authority and the rewarder, you invite a new order into your life, aligning the inner with the outer and letting justice flow through your days.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and assume the I AM presence as the judge and rewarder within. Rehearse a scene where you reward your inner prophets and saints, and gently dissolve the destructive impulses by affirming your creative power here and now.
