Neville's Inner Vision

To interpret Revelation 11:12 through the Goddard lens is to hear the voice of your own I AM. The call Come up hither is not a summons to a place outside you, but a command issued within the state you currently inhabit. The cloud is the substance of your present beliefs and feelings—the fog of doubt that blocks clear view. When you accept the invitation in imagination and persist in the feeling of ascent, you rise in consciousness as surely as they rose into the sky. Their enemies beholding them represent the last witnesses of the old self—the doubts, the fears, the habitual thoughts that would keep you earthbound. In truth, the ascent reveals that heaven is not a distant locale but a state of awareness you abide in by faith and trust. The Kingdom of God appears wherever the I AM is acknowledged as the sovereign reality. When you imagine the ascent and dwell in the present tense of 'I AM,' you fulfill the spiritual 'resurrection' and demonstrate new life here and now.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Practice: In a quiet moment, assume you have already ascended into the heaven of your own consciousness and hold the feeling of the I AM rising above limitation for sixty seconds; then carry that elevated sense into your next hour.
