Biblical Context
An angel tells the speaker to measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there; the outer court is left out, for it belongs to the Gentiles, and the holy city endures a defined period; power is given to two witnesses to prophesy for 1,260 days in sackcloth.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this vision, the reed is your own consciousness; rise and measure the temple of God becomes an invitation to audit your inner sanctum with the imagination you possess. The altar and those who worship there symbolize your beliefs and the feelings you offer in reverence to your I AM. The outer court that is not measured points to thoughts and habits that do not recognize your true divinity; the holy city trodden underfoot for forty-two months signals a season in which worldly appearances test your inner alignment. The two witnesses, clothed in sackcloth, are your faculties of prophetic truth and humble action, inner voices that prophesy when you stand in stillness and alignment with your I AM. The power granted to them comes not from external authority but from an inner declaration of presence. When you measure from the end you seek, you awaken the kingdom within and allow time’s rhythm to reveal your unity with God.
Practice This Now
Assume you are the temple measured by the I AM; revise any sense of separation and feel it real that the inner sanctuary is complete now.
