Consider the mighty angel as a state of consciousness descended into your life. The cloud-clad figure is not a distant being but your awareness amplifying itself. The rainbow on the head proclaims the covenant between imagination and reality; the face like the sun reveals the illumined mind that sees truth without fear. The feet of fire ground this vision in action, unyielding to doubt. The opened little book in his hand is the seed-book of possibilities now available to you; by stepping one foot upon the sea—the vast inner currents of emotion—and the other upon the earth—the solid world of form—you declare dominion over both seas and lands. When he roars and the seven thunders speak, remember these are inner sounds—revelations that belong to a later season of consciousness; the command to seal them reminds you that some truths are not yet meant for outward assertion. Your practice is to hold steady in the present assumption, letting the opened book reveal your next workable state, while you quietly seal away any deeper mutterings until you have aligned with the I AM and its timing.
