Biblical Context
A mighty angel descends from heaven, clothed with a cloud, with a rainbow on his head, a sun-bright face, and feet like pillars of fire.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the Neville method, the mighty angel is your own I AM descending into your present sense of self. The cloud that garments him is the rapture of shifting thoughts—an interior mist you permit to veil or reveal. The rainbow on his head is your covenant with life, a promise you make to hold the vibration of peace and creative power. His face, as the sun, is illumination—when you choose to identify with that radiant awareness, inner shadows recede as you become the light that creates. His feet, pillars of fire, are the reliable energy fixed in stillness—your ability to stand in the conviction that you are the cause, not the effect, of experience. So the vision is not distant; it is a mental state you assume now. When you live from that I AM, you perform a practical revision of any limitation, and the outer world rearranges to fit the inner image. The angel is the inner governor, the throne room within; invite him to rule your day by assuming the possibility and feeling it as real.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and see the mighty angel descend into your room, cloud-clad, rainbow-bearing, sun-faced, feet of fire. Say softly, I AM the I AM, and revise the scene as already true, feeling the reality of the Kingdom here now.
