Jesus Christ, 'the faithful witness' and 'the first begotten of the dead,' is the living memory of your true nature—your inner witness that never doubts your divine birth. To be 'loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood' is to perceive that every error thought is dissolved by the life of God within you, washed clean by awareness. 'Hath made us kings and priests unto God' means you reign first in your own heart and mind, serving in the sacred interior where you commune with God as your Father. The doxology, 'glory and dominion for ever,' expresses your eternal state already established in the I AM. Salvation is not future salvation but the present functioning of your inner kingdom, where imagination becomes reality through steadfast faith in what you choose to hold as true.
