Biblical Context
The verse tells you to turn and listen; you see seven golden candlesticks and the Son of Man in their midst. The vision centers on an inner order rather than an external scene.
Neville's Inner Vision
Turn away from the outward scene and turn toward the voice within, for the Bible here is a manual of inner sight. The seven candlesticks are seven steadfast lights in your own consciousness, lights you keep before the throne of your awareness. The Son of Man in the midst is not a distant figure but your own I AM, crowned with a garment that reaches the feet and girded with a golden belt—an image of inherent kingship. This vision tells you that God is not somewhere up there; God is the I AM now present in the center of your attention. When you acknowledge the I AM as the light among the lights, the world you observe rearranges itself to reflect that inner state. The candlesticks illuminate according to what you believe and feel; the central figure governs the mood you choose. The practice is to dwell with the inner king as if he stood in the very room of your mind, and to let that inner authority guide your thoughts and feelings into wholeness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, turn your attention inward, and see seven golden candlesticks arranged around you. In the middle, see the Son of Man—your I AM—robed and girded; feel his authority and declare, I AM the light and ruler of my world.
