Revelation 1:1

Biblical Context

Revelation 1:1 states that God gave Jesus a revelation to show his servants what must soon happen, delivered through an angel to John. In plain terms, it is an inner communication designed for consciousness to witness the upcoming changes.

Neville's Inner Vision

Revelation 1:1 presents not a distant chronicle but an invitation to inner sight. God gave Jesus a revelation—an inner communication—so that the inner servants of consciousness may witness what must soon pass into form. The phrase 'The Revelation of Jesus Christ' points to the self's lived awareness, with Jesus representing the consciousness that can receive and interpret meaning. The giving is by God—the I AM—affirming that the vision originates in your own being. The angel who signified it is the imagination, the messenger within who turns invisible truth into images you can dwell in. John is the name of the witness within, the consciousness that records and interprets; his servant status asks you to become earnest in attentiveness to inner signs. 'Shortly come to pass' signals the immediacy of the shift in your state of consciousness—when you attend to the inner message, the future begins to appear as present experience. Therefore, the revelation is not about distant events but about your capacity to alter your state; ask, listen, and consent to the vision that your awareness is already revealing.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state of I AM, open to a clear inner revelation. Revise any doubt until you feel it real as already accomplished.
