Psalms 99:2-3

Biblical Context

Psalm 99:2–3 presents God’s majesty as exalted in Zion and above all peoples, inviting praise of His holy name. It also points to an inner, sacred presence that is sovereign within consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you, Zion is the throne room of consciousness where the I AM sits in eternal majesty. The psalm's words are not about geography but about your inner governance: the divine Presence reigns over every thought and belief, higher than the clamor of the crowd within. To praise thy great and terrible name, for it is holy, speaks of the holy manifesting as awe—reverence that awakens you to your true identity. The name stands for who you are when you are fully conscious of I AM as your own reality, not a distant god. To praise it is to align with that reality, to dwell in the certainty that you are the presence that commands order, justice, and love. When you acknowledge this, the outer world adjusts to reflect Zion’s majesty.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Assume the state I AM sits enthroned above every thought; for five minutes, close your eyes, repeat The Lord is great in Zion; the I AM is holy, and feel it real as your present life now.
