Psalms 98:3-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 98 in context

Scripture Focus

3He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
Psalms 98:3-4

Biblical Context

God's mercy and truth toward Israel are remembered, and the whole earth witnesses the salvation of God. Then all the earth is called to joyful noise, to rejoice, and to praise.

Neville's Inner Vision

Salvation is not a future event; it is the moment you recognize the I AM at work as your own consciousness. 'He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel' means the I AM remembers and expresses mercy and truth toward the inner house you identify with—your covenant of disciplined thoughts. When you dwell in that inner mercy, the outer world becomes a witness: 'all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God'—present now as your life, expressed in form and function, reflecting your inner state. The decree is simple: insist that God within you is real, and you awaken to your true power, and salvation is revealed in your daily affairs. Then 'Make a joyful noise unto the LORD' is your practice: give voice to gratitude, praise, and joyous self-assertion from the end you desire. Do not beg; assume. Feel the joy as already yours, and let your world harmonize to that tone.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: close your eyes and assume the end—'I am saved now.' Feel gratitude; imagine one concrete scene where salvation expresses itself and carry that feeling with you through the day.
