Biblical Context
Psalm 98 proclaims the Lord's victory and salvation, shown by his mighty arm. It also remembers mercy and truth toward Israel, so that all nations witness God's salvation.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of this psalm as a map of consciousness. The 'right hand' and 'holy arm' are not external weapons but the I AM in you, the unwavering awareness that accomplishes a thing by consenting to its reality in mind. When you imagine that God has already done marvelous things, you are seeing your world through the eye that never forgets its own power. The 'salvation' and 'righteousness' are not distant favors but movements of your inner state visible as outer order. The heathen, the nations, are but projections of doubt until you permit the truth of your nature to be known. Remembered mercy and truth toward your house of Israel means a remembered pattern of compassion within you, a covenant kept by your awareness. As all the ends of the earth see salvation, know that every circumstance in your life reflects what you have allowed your mind to accept as real. The kingdom is not out there; it is the aware state that says, 'I am saved,' and thereby invites the world to respond to its law.
Practice This Now
In the next moment, assume the state of 'I AM' having already accomplished victory, and feel mercy and truth circulating within you until your life aligns with the memory of salvation.
