Psalm 97:2-9 Inner Presence

Within this psalm you do not observe a distant God; you hear the inner movement of your own consciousness. Clouds and darkness round about Him become the veils you remove when you recall who you are. The throne's righteousness and judgment are the steady state you may assume, because I AM is the source of all vision. The fire going before Him is the conviction that burns away fear and resistance around your inner enemies—doubt, guilt, limitation—so that your world can be cleansed. As you dwell in this truth, His lightnings enlighten your world, and the earth trembles, not in terror, but in the release of old tendencies. The hills melt like wax at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth when you stand in the recognition of your own exalted nature. The heavens declare His righteousness as you acknowledge your own glory within. Do not bow to carved images; worship the one living God within, the awareness that calls all things into being.
