Biblical Context
Psalm 94:8 challenges the fools among the people to awaken to wisdom. It calls for inner discernment and an inner revision toward wiser thinking.
Neville's Inner Vision
You are not addressing others out there, but the state of your own consciousness. The brutal terms in the verse are a wake-up call to shift from automatic habit to the bright light of the I AM. When you hear: 'when will ye be wise?' you are asked to revise your inner atmosphere until discernment becomes your habitual perception. See yourself as a being of choice, able to reinterpret events by imagining the wiser outcome in advance. The practice is to dwell in the perception that you are already wise, and that wisdom is a function of your inner assumption. Treat this verse as a directive to revise your inner climate from fear, habit, or confusion to the quiet, assured perception of the I AM. In a moment of temptation, imagine the wiser response and feel it as real, until it becomes your natural mode of being. Your outer life follows as the inner vision becomes dominant.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit in stillness, declare 'I AM wisdom now.' Then revise a troublesome thought and feel the wiser response as real.
