Psalms 94:21

Biblical Context

Verse 94:21 speaks of a gathering against the soul of the righteous and of condemning the innocent blood. In inner terms, it describes how your thoughts and beliefs may oppose your true self.

Neville's Inner Vision

To my understanding, the 'they' who crowd upon the soul of the righteous is not a neighbors' jury but a chorus of your own outdated thoughts, fears, and habits. The 'soul of the righteous' is the I AM within you, the steadfast consciousness that accepts all and remains unmoved by cajolery or blame. When you feel pressed or condemned by an external scene, recognize that you are hearing the echo of a belief you hold about yourself. The reality you observe is an inner movement of consciousness, not a fixed external fact. Therefore the remedy is not struggle but revision. Assume the end that you are the I AM, righteous and unassailable, and let that assumption saturate the scene until the crowd fades and the bloodless verdict dissolves into silence. In this mode, imagination creates reality: by attending to the feeling of your constant presence, you reframe judgments as proofs of your own strength. Practice detachment, rest in awareness, and let inner truth rewrite outward appearances.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes, assume the I AM as your unchanging reality, and revise the scene by affirming 'I am the righteousness now' until the outer gathering dissolves.
