Assured Inheritance, Inner Judgment

Psalms 94:14-15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 94 in context

Scripture Focus

14For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
Psalms 94:14-15

Biblical Context

The psalm promises that God will not cast off his people or inheritance; judgment returns to righteousness, and the upright in heart will follow it.

Neville's Inner Vision

From this psalm I hear the I AM speaking in you and through you. God is not a distant judge but the very awareness you call upon to discern what you think and feel. The inheritance you fear losing is your own imagined state of consciousness, a possession that cannot be taken away when you rest in the fact that you are the expression of divine life. Judgment, in this light, is not punishment but the return of your thoughts to righteousness—the alignment of every feeling with the truth that you are infinitely cared for. When you believe you are abandoned, you have momentarily forgotten your nature as awareness; when you revise that feeling and rest in this I AM presence, the world you see reflects that inner order. The upright in heart are those who maintain a steady inner posture of integrity, and they follow where this inner law leads. So change the inner weather, and the outer scene follows.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state of being cherished by the I AM; repeat quietly, I am cared for and never forsaken; dwell in that felt sense for a few minutes each day.
