Biblical Context
Psalm 93 affirms God’s sovereign rule with majesty and strength; the world is established and unmovable, and the throne of the Lord is timeless, while outward floods symbolize tumultuous appearances.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of The LORD reigneth as the I AM within you—your enduring awareness that never leaves its throne. The verse does not describe distant history but your present state, a majesty you can wear at will. When you clothe yourself with majesty and gird your mind with strength in imagination, you set a foundation that cannot be moved by appearances. Thy throne is established of old; thou art from everlasting declares that your being is not born of transient events but of timeless consciousness. The floods rising and lifting their voice symbolize outward thoughts and emotions that challenge you; yet the throne remains unchanged, unshaken, because you have entered and settled into the state of consciousness that rules them. If you dwell in that state—accepting the jurisdiction of your own I AM—external fluctuations begin to recede and obey your inner royal decree. The practical step is to assume the feeling of established order and let that assumption expand until it feels real.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes; sit on your inner throne and feel the assurance that cannot be moved. Repeat, 'I am the I AM; the world is established in my consciousness,' until the feeling of settled sovereignty is real.
