Biblical Context
Psalm 92:9 speaks of enemies perishing and the workers of iniquity scattered, a poetic picture of divine justice at work within consciousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of the 'enemies' as not persons but the states of consciousness you entertain within. The verse announces that when the Supreme I AM is acknowledged as your reality, those adversaries perish and the workers of iniquity are scattered. In this light, 'justice' is not a courtroom but a shift of perception: guilt dissolves as you identify yourself with the innermost divine self. The wars you sense outwardly are your inner defenses clinging to separation; when you plant the realization 'I am that I am,' these defences disintegrate, and the old stories are no longer controlled by you. Notice how the phrase 'thine enemies' becomes 'the enemy within'—that is, fear, doubt, resentment, and habit. As you dwell in the I AM, you re-create your atmosphere, and the seeming enemies lose their hold; they are scattered by your resolved consciousness. This is the true judgment: you align with righteousness by conscious recognition that you are the one God, and thus the world reorganizes to reflect your inner state.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, anchor in I AM, and declare 'I AM.' Revise every sense of opposition as a thought-form and feel the enemies scatter.
