Fruitful Life in Old Age
Psalms 92:14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Psalms 92 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse promises ongoing fruitfulness and vitality in old age. It frames inner life as fruitful, not diminished by time.
Neville's Inner Vision
Observe that the verse does not promise a future event but declares the inner condition, a state of consciousness in which the old man and old woman are still capable of fruiting. The word 'they' refers to you as a being of I AM, not to a body alone; the inner movement remains fertile as you refuse to identify with ruin. When you inhabit the consciousness that you ARE the source of life, the outer signs follow. The aging body may be present, yet your awareness chooses renewal, fullness, and graceful endurance. The 'fat and flourishing' become your inner property—abundance as a quality of mind. By revision, you displace any belief in decay and concede to the reality that imagination creates. In this light, renewal is the creation of a New Creation within, a perpetual harvest that persists through time. Your future is not a distant date but a present condition matured by faith, hope, and consistent interior petition.
Practice This Now
Assume the state 'I am fat and flourishing' here and now. Feel that vitality in your body as true, and let the inner image gently revise outer signs.
