Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse promises that the righteous will flourish. Their growth is rooted in divine vitality and strength, like palm trees and cedars.
Neville's Inner Vision
Psalm 92 verse 12 is not about trees in a forest but about states of consciousness. The righteous are those who dwell in the I AM, the awareness that never sleeps. When you live from that awareness, you flourish like the palm tree, deeply rooted yet ever reaching upward; you drink from divine air and sway with the breeze of Providence. You also grow like a cedar in Lebanon, tall, enduring, and protective, a vision of strength grounded in a timeless source. Notice how two qualities appear: vitality and permanence. The palm tree gives life while remaining flexible; the cedar yields shelter and honor. Neither are outside you; they are your inner dispositions made visible by imagination. The I AM does not punish or reward; it simply is. Your imagination is the channel through which this inner reality becomes outward form. If you identify with lack or fear, you are misplacing your attention. The righteous are those who choose holiness as separation from alarm and align with divine order. This is Providence made visible as future hope and a dignified presence within you, a reflection of the Imago Dei.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already flourishing, rooted in the I AM. Feel the vitality rise through you and affirm I am this flourishing now.
