Dwelling in Divine Refuge
Psalms 91:9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
When you make the Lord your refuge, He becomes your habitation. Safety and protection arise from this inner alignment, not from external circumstances.
Neville's Inner Vision
Suppose you have entered the inner sanctuary of your own awareness, and the Lord is your habitation. The psalmist calls the Most High your refuge because safety exists where you dwell in God, not in outward defenses. In Neville's language, you are not seeking protection from fate; you are choosing to be the I AM within which protection arises. Every place outside you is a projection of your inner state. If you carry fear as your core, you will meet only threats; if you affirm, 'I am dwelling in the Lord,' you shift your entire atmosphere. Begin with a simple assumption: 'I am now inside the habitation of the Most High; I am safe, guided, led by wisdom.' Feel the reality of that state until it floods your sense with quiet strength. As you persist, events begin to rearrange themselves to reflect a consciousness of safety. Providence becomes visible, not as something outside you to be trusted, but as the inward reality you consistently live from.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are dwelling in God. Say, 'I am the habitation of the Most High,' and feel walls of light encircle you; carry that inner fortress into your day.
