Seeing The Wicked's Reward Within
Psalms 91:8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Psalms 91 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse says you behold the reward of the wicked with your own eyes, a sight that arises from your inner state, not from external judgment.
Neville's Inner Vision
You are not asked to escape the world; you are asked to become the watcher of your own inner weather. 'Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold' means you look from the I AM—your innermost awareness—so you witness what arises without becoming its prey. The 'reward of the wicked' is not a punishment handed down from above; it is the outer scene that flows from a life rooted in fear, manipulation, or resentment. When you dwell in trust, clarity, and compassion, the world you observe reflects that state, and you simply behold the form it takes. To witness another’s downfall or triumph is to witness the echo of your own consciousness at play. The practice is simple: assume the I AM as the one who creates, revise any belief that you are at the mercy of others, and feel it real that the universe answers the inner decree you hold. Your job is to maintain a steadied inner vision, for by that vision you authorize the appearances you are willing to call real.
Practice This Now
Assume the I AM now and declare, 'I am the observer and creator of my world.' Then feel the reality of peace so strong that you watch the outer scene and remain untroubled by it.
