Psalms 91:5

Biblical Context

The verse urges that you need not fear the terrors of night or the threats that seem to fly by day. It points to a sustaining presence that guards you as you rest in awareness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Night fears and daytime arrows are not external enemies but moves within your own consciousness. The terror by night and the arrow by day are merely images in the theater of your mind, projecting bondage or safety depending on what you believe you are. In this psalm, you are called to align with the I AM, the awareness that knows no separation from itself. If you insist that you are the witness who cannot be touched by fear, fear dissolves; the night becomes a teacher showing you how deeply you trust in the presence that encircles you. The I AM does not fight fear; it does not negotiate with danger. It simply remains, and by remaining as the unquestioned reality, it revokes the illusion of threat. Therefore, adopt the state: I am the I AM, safety itself, and every scene of fear is a mere image passing through the field of my consciousness. Believe this, and the terror cannot cling; by day or by night you stand unshaken, protected by your own inner light.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, assume the I AM as your constant state, and revise any scene of fear by affirming 'I am safe now' until it feels real.
