Read Psalms 91 in context

Scripture Focus

14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
Psalms 91:14

Biblical Context

Loving God yields deliverance and elevation. The promise rests on recognizing the divine name.

Neville's Inner Vision

Why does he deliver? Not from without, but from within. When you set your love upon the I AM, you shift your entire state of consciousness. The verse speaks not of a distant God waiting to act, but of your own awareness choosing to align with the immutable power that you are. 'Deliverance' is the clearing of fear and limitation as you acknowledge that the I AM knows your name, that your identity is the very name of God in you. 'Set him on high' is an inner ascent: you rise not by external circumstance but by the recognition of your true nature, a high place in the soul where judgments dissolve and light fills space. To know the name is to know the activity of love, mercy, and wisdom in operation within you. Your word becomes your world; your feeling becomes fact; your imagination is the instrument of reality. Trusting this, the outer appears to respond to the inner revision.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, fix your attention on the I AM, and declare, 'I have set my love upon the I AM.' Then feel yourself delivered and raised to a higher state of consciousness.
