Psalms 9:16

Biblical Context

The verse states that the LORD's judgment is known by its results, and the wicked are ensnared by their own actions, reflecting the consequences of their inner state.

Neville's Inner Vision

The LORD in this psalm is the I AM within you, a stationary witness who judges not as an external ruler but as the inner discernment of causes. The 'judgment' is the inner verdict you render about what is possible; when you experience 'the wicked'—any thought, belief, or condition that constrains you—it is a movement in your own consciousness, a trap created by your past states. The snare arises from your own hands, through thoughts and actions you have imagined as real. Remember that judgment is creative; by imagining outcomes, you enact them. The Higgaion and Selah invite you to pause, observe the causal chain in your life, and revise without condemnation. When you align your inner state with wholeness, the outer world becomes a mirror of that alignment, releasing you from old snares and welcoming new life into your awareness.

Practice This Now

Assume you are the I AM judge within; revise a limiting belief by declaring, 'I am the I AM perceiving law and justice now,' then feel-it-real by imagining a scene where the situation resolves in harmony and relief fills you.
