Psalms 9:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 9 in context

Scripture Focus

10And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
Psalms 9:10

Biblical Context

Those who know God's name trust in Him. He does not forsake those who seek Him.

Neville's Inner Vision

Knowing thy name is not trivia about a distant God; it is the recognition that the I AM within you is the name by which reality answers. When you awaken to that inner title, you stop searching outside for security and instead rest in the awareness that you are already in fellowship with the divine. Trust arises as a natural state, not a moral effort. The one who seeks is not abandoned; the inner presence cannot forsake its own. Your name is your present consciousness; to know it is to know that God is near you as your own awareness. In that knowing, events align to reflect the confidence you bear. As you dwell in the I AM, you will notice fear recede and clarity return, and Providence flows as a steady, quiet current rather than a battle. The verse invites you to revise any sense of separation into a living union. The heart that seeks is already known and cared for, and thus trust becomes your constant companion.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, breathe, and repeat I AM until it fills your awareness; then revise fear by affirming I am not forsaken, for I seek the I AM within.
