Psalms 89:6-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse proclaims that the LORD’s majesty cannot be matched in heaven, and that true reverence rests in the assembly of the saints.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the seeker who asks, the heaven is not a distant sky but the arena of your own awareness. The question, who can be compared unto the LORD, is a reminder that your I AM stands unmatched in the court of your mind. The ‘sons of the mighty’ are the counterfeit powers you entertain—the fear, the doubt, the old stories that would have you bow to lesser authorities. But God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, which in Neville’s terms is the inner company of expressed states of consciousness, the surrounding atmosphere of your Christed awareness. When you notice rival claims in your thoughts, do not argue with them externally; revise them from the throne of your own I AM. Affirm that there is no other presence but the Presence you know as God within. The one who is all in heaven and on earth is your own awareness, and all others are figures moving within it. Rest in the felt reality that the Lord is supreme in you and let that awareness reorganize your inner scenery until it reflects harmony, power, and reverence.
Practice This Now
Sit in quiet and close your eyes. In your mind’s eye, picture a radiant assembly around you and declare that you alone are the LORD of this consciousness; feel the awe and let it settle into your heart.
