Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage records a vision where God names an empowered ruler, anointed and established. This ruler is protected by mercy and faithfulness and authorized to tread over vast symbolic seas.
Neville's Inner Vision
In vision God speaks of laying help on one mighty; the mighty is your inner I AM, the state of consciousness you awaken. The anointing oil is your inner vitality, marking you as the one set apart by your own awakened soul. When your hand is established and your arm strengthened, you are aligning will and imagination with divine action, so outer appearances cannot defeat you. The enemy and the wicked are the play of doubt and limitation dissolving under the light of your assumed reality. Faithfulness and mercy are not distant gifts but the very tone of awareness you inhabit; in the name of God your horn is exalted, meaning your certainty of being stands crowned by meaning. Placing your inner hand in the sea and rivers is a metaphor for commanding vast inner faculties to serve your will. This is kingship in the Kingdom of God—felt first as inner fact, then realized outwardly through consciousness.
Practice This Now
Assume the statement, 'I am the exalted one,' as your present reality. Visualize the oil of awareness flowing over you, feel your hand establish and your arm strengthen, and dwell in the sense that no foe can prevail against you.
