Inner Ownership of All Creation

Psalms 89:11-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 89 in context

Scripture Focus

11The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.
12The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.
Psalms 89:11-12

Biblical Context

Heaven and earth belong to God, and He has founded the world and its fullness. The verse also notes the north and south, created by Him and rejoicing in His name.

Neville's Inner Vision

In truth, the heavens and the earth are not external rivals but expressions of your I AM, the divine awareness that you are. The verse testifies that creation belongs to the One within you who names and sustains all: heaven, earth, and the fullness thereof exist because you affirm their existence in your consciousness. The lines about the north and south, and about Tabor and Hermon rejoicing, symbolize the polarities and fixed mountains in your mind that rejoice only when aligned with the divine name—your true identity. When you dwell in this knowing, you are not petitioning a distant God but returning to the awareness that you are the act of God, the architect of form and order. As you assume ownership, your inner world rearranges itself to reflect a well-ordered cosmos governed by your I AM. The world you observe becomes the outward expression of your inner state, a testament to the unity of creator and creation within.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, assume the I AM owns heaven and earth within your mind, and repeat, with feeling, 'I created all I behold' until it becomes your living certainty.
