Psalms 87:1-4

Biblical Context

Psalm 87:1-4 speaks of Zion as the divine foundation, beloved by the LORD for its gates, and celebrated in glorious terms, with nations spoken of as being born into the city of God.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, Zion is not a distant land but a living state of your own consciousness. The foundation on the holy mountains is the solid ground of I AM—the awareness that stands unmoved by outward winds. The LORD’s love for the gates of Zion signals that your inner thresholds—the decisions of faith, the boundaries you hold as true—are exalted above any outward dwelling. When it declares glorious things spoken of thee, O city of God, it is your inner speech blessing your true self and calling forth its reality. The mention of Rahab and Babylon to those who know me points you toward the inner nations you carry—habits, memories, and fears you have built as identity. Behold Philistia, Tyre, and Ethiopia; this man was born there speaks of your birth into a new order of being. You are invited to return to the inner city, to live from Zion, and to watch your outer world align with the glory of your inner foundation.

Practice This Now

Sit in quiet and assume the posture of a citizen of Zion—the I AM as your unchanging awareness. Feel the gates open and know that glorious things are now spoken of you; regard this as your present birth into Zion.
