Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God's core is found in the holy mountains, signaling an inner foundation. The LORD favors Zion’s gates above all outward cities.
Neville's Inner Vision
Zion here is not a town but the sanctuary of consciousness. The holy mountains are the elevated states of mind you can inhabit—secure foundations unaffected by outward change. The LORD loving the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob declares that the openings of your inner life—your beliefs, feelings, and imaginations—are valued above external structures. Therefore the true city you inhabit is within you, built by your I AM, your continuous awareness. Your thoughts and perceptions are gates; when they open in harmony with love, truth, and holiness, the divine presence dwells there. The verse invites you to distrust the chase for external success and to invest in the inner soil where God already resides. As you assume this inner state—standing in Zion, feeling the I AM as the ruler of all you experience—you align with the kingdom and invite its conditions into your day. The world you see becomes a reflection of that settled consciousness, and you know you are foundation and gate at once.
Practice This Now
Assume you are already inside Zion and feel the I AM present in every moment. Revise any sense of lack until the gates of your consciousness are open to divine love.
