11Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

Psalms 86:11-12

Biblical Context

Psalm 86:11-12 asks God to guide one in the way of truth, to unite the heart in reverence, and to praise and glorify God with wholehearted devotion.

Neville's Inner Vision

What you call God is the I AM you are aware of. Teach me thy way is a command to align your mind with the living principle within; to walk in thy truth is to dwell in a state where your thoughts, feelings, and acts reflect that truth. Unite my heart to fear thy name means bring all the faculties into reverence for your divine self, a single center that no longer wavers. When you hold this awareness, your praise becomes not a ritual but the natural expression of an inner realized identity. The name you fear is not terror but respect for the sacred self behind every sense of separation; to glorify thy name forever is to live from that eternal self in perpetual gratitude. Your world becomes the demonstration of the I AM you choose to inhabit, and your being is changed by the recognition that you already hold the truth you seek.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, assume the I AM presence, and declare, 'I walk in truth; my heart is united to the I AM.' Feel the unity and let this felt sense colour every thought and action.
