Psalms 85:7-10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Plain summary: The psalm asks for mercy and salvation. It promises God will speak peace to His faithful, and that salvation is near for those who fear Him; mercy and truth meet, and righteousness and peace kiss.
Neville's Inner Vision
Recast as a present-tense inner revelation: mercy is your inmost grace, the I AM extending compassion to every thought; salvation is the dawning of consciousness that hears God speaking peace within you now. Do not seek outside; listen for the LORD in your own awareness and rest in the assurance that peace follows from alignment with that inner voice. To fear Him is to honor the authority of the I AM inside, and when you do, salvation appears near and glory fills your land, your life becoming radiant with divine order. Mercy and truth kiss in the mind; righteousness and peace embrace in your experience when you permit the inner vision to govern all you do. Practice by assuming you already possess mercy and peace; revise any sense of lack by declaring, 'I am the mercy of God, I am the salvation of God, I am the peace of God now.' Feel this as real, and let it redirect every circumstance toward the divine state present within you.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, breathe, and repeat the revision sentence three times: 'I am the mercy of God, I am the salvation of God, I am the peace of God now.' Then visualize a gentle light filling your inner land and radiating outward.
