Biblical Context

Mercy and truth meet, and righteousness and peace kiss each other. The inner ground yields truth and the higher order directs blessings into life.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within me, mercy and truth are not strangers but two facets of the I AM. When I realize that I am the consciousness that says Yes to virtue (mercy) and Yes to accuracy (truth) simultaneously, I set a new weather in my world. Righteousness does not battle me from without; it steps before the mind and walks in front of me, clearing the path so that peace can walk beside and behind. 'Truth shall spring out of the earth' becomes my inner soil yielding revelations as I persist in the feeling of being already justified and just. 'Righteousness shall look down from heaven' is the perception that higher rightness is looking after me, providing good and cause for my land to increase. This psalm invites me to inhabit a state where mercy, truth, righteousness, and peace kiss and fuse into a single, living order. When I dwell there, outward conditions answer as an expression of inner alignment.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state that mercy and truth have kissed your heart, with righteousness walking before you and peace guiding your steps. Revise any sense of lack and feel it real now as the I AM.
