Jehovah Within: Inner Sovereignty

Psalms 83:18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 83 in context

Scripture Focus

18That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.
Psalms 83:18

Biblical Context

The verse declares that Jehovah's name, the sole identifier of God, is supreme. It also asserts His sovereignty over all the earth.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the verse lies the invitation to know the one I AM behind every thought and sensation. Jehovah's name is not a distant title but the single, unifying awareness that you are. When you awaken to this I AM as the Most High over all the earth, you see that every event, place, or person reflects your inner state, not some outside power wrenched from your control. The line asks you to acknowledge that the name you call upon in consciousness is the power that governs your world. If you feel lack, fear, or limitation, you are simply entertaining a different identification—a counterfeit name lurking in the shadow of your awareness. Return to I AM, the sovereign presence, and deny the illusion of rival powers. In this mode, the earth becomes your field of consciousness rather than a separate stage; the King (God) reigns where you attend to your inner dispositions. Imagination is the instrument by which you rehearse that sovereignty until it becomes your lived experience.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, settle into the I AM, and repeat softly: I am Jehovah, the Most High over my life. Feel the reality of that sovereignty settle throughout your body as you breathe.
