Inner Storm of Judgment
Psalms 83:11-15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The psalm prays for God to scatter those who boast of seizing God's houses, describing the enemy as stubble before the wind and as a fire and storm that threaten the mountains.
Neville's Inner Vision
These verses reveal that the 'enemies' are not distant foes but images of a mind clinging to past defeats and to the claim of ownership over God’s house within me. Oreb, Zeeb, Zebah, and Zalmunna symbolize proud thoughts, memories, and judgments that would possess the sacred space of consciousness. The cry is not for punishment out there, but for a decisive conversion of awareness: let such false claims dissolve under the truth of I AM. When I awaken as the aware I, the wheel turns upon the old order; the stubble before the wind is my former opinions blown away; the fire that burns a wood and the flame that scorches mountains become the purifying movement of my inner life. Rather than resisting the tempest, I invite it as inner transformation, knowing that the storm is the natural pressure that clears space for my God-self to dwell. The “houses of God” are not external properties but states I now possess as being. Judgment becomes liberation, and deliverance arises from within as I align with the unity of I AM.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine you are the I AM, watching the wheel of old defenses turn and dissolve. Feel the storm as inner motion that clears space for your God-self to dwell; whisper, I AM, and revise past defeats into present power.
