Read Psalms 80 in context

Scripture Focus

1Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.
2Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.
3Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
Psalms 80:1-3

Biblical Context

The psalm pleads for God, the Shepherd of Israel, to arise and save, and to turn the people toward His bright presence.

Neville's Inner Vision

In you, the I AM is the Shepherd who guides the flock of your thoughts. The call to shine forth is the invitation to illuminate every corner of your mind with awareness. The 'turn us again' is a revision of your inner image, restoring alignment with the one Presence. Salvation is not a distant event but a state of consciousness you assume here and now. When you imagine the divine light as already present, your outer circumstances are compelled to follow that inward reality. The 'face to shine' becomes the moment your inner vision grows luminous, and problems soften as your mind rests in that radiant state. Do not seek proofs outside; plant this consciousness and let it grow, letting the life you experience reflect the inner sun.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and assume the feeling: God is shining on me now; I am saved. Let that light warm your entire being as a real, present experience.
