Inner Listening to Divine Law

Psalms 78:1 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 78 in context

Scripture Focus

1Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
Psalms 78:1

Biblical Context

The verse calls the people to give ear to the law and incline their ears to the words spoken. It invites attentive listening as a stance of obedience and alignment with truth.

Neville's Inner Vision

Give ear means I turn my attention from the noise of the senses to the quiet inner law within. Law is the I AM, the permanent principle by which I interpret life. The words of my mouth are the vibrations of my own inner speech; when I incline my ears to them, I align my consciousness with the reality I want to experience. The outer world is the echo of my inner state; to change it, I revise my inner hearing rather than chase effects. Sit in stillness and declare, I AM the listener who hears the decree of my own mind. Assume the feeling that the law is already fulfilled; see and feel the outcome as if now present. Do not argue with appearances; let the inner voice speak the truth you choose, and obey. Your role is the listener who commands the law by accepting its word as real.

Practice This Now

In a quiet moment, place attention on the I AM within and imagine your desired state announced by your inner mouth; then feel the certainty of it already true.
