The Sea of Your Way

Psalms 77:19 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 77 in context

Scripture Focus

19Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known.
Psalms 77:19

Biblical Context

The verse speaks of God's way as something found in the sea and in great waters, unseen by ordinary sight; the guidance is inward, not outward.

Neville's Inner Vision

To Neville, this verse says the only path that matters is the interior conversion of consciousness. Thy way is in the sea, meaning the creative stream of your I AM, the awareness that you are, dwells in a vast interior sea. Your footsteps are not known because you have looked outward for direction, when true movement arises from a revised sense of self. God, the I AM, is not a distant navigator but the present consciousness that can imagine and thereby realize. When you assume a state in which the problem is already resolved, you are charting a course in the great waters with the sole instrument of imagination. The sea becomes your psychology, a field where new realities are born through feeling it real. Do not chase visible tracks; dwell in the certainty that a path exists within you and let that inner motion incline your world toward fulfillment. The verse asks you to trust the invisible track, and to let your inner wind carry you toward the next scene of your own making.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, revise your inner state: 'I am the I AM, and my path is now unfolding within me.' Feel the sea of my consciousness supporting each step as the next scene of my life appears.
