Inner Glory Beyond Outer Power
Psalms 76:4-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God's glory outshines even the mightiest mountains of prey, humbling the stouthearted and rendering outward weapons powerless. Before the I AM of consciousness, fear and pride fade, and the question remains: who can stand in that presence?
Neville's Inner Vision
Psalm 76 becomes a mirror for the man or woman who awakens to the I AM as the sole reality. The 'mountains of prey' are the external troubles you imagine facing; when you turn from them and dwell in the awareness that you are the living I AM, they lose their charge. The 'stouthearted'—your proud plans and fixed beliefs—are swept away not by force, but by the vibrational correction of consciousness: in you, the divine presence rebukes the dream of separation and the dream of power apart from God. When you align with the inner fact, the 'chariot and horse'—your external props—are cast into sleep; the world's movements slow to nothing, as if in a dead dream. 'Thou art to be feared' shifts from a threat to a recognition: the unmistakable power of awareness that cannot be resisted by mere appearances. And the verse's final question becomes an invitation: once you know the I AM, nothing stands in your sight but the field of your own awareness. Practice your throne of being, and you will see the outer fall into place.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, and as you breathe, declare: I am the I AM, glory that surpasses every outer force. Feel the sense of inner sovereignty; imagine the mountains of prey dissolving and your world aligning to that inner truth.
