Inner Kingship Over Princes
Psalms 76:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The psalm declares God's power to humble earthly rulers by cutting off the spirit of princes. It points to a divine authority beyond human rule.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that the 'spirit of princes' is not a political force but a state of consciousness—pride, control, the dream of domination. The 'king' in the earth represents any outward authority your mind pays homage to when you forget the I AM. When I tell you that God cuts off that spirit, I am telling you that in your own awareness you may revoke the power of limitation by turning to the one presence within—the I AM, the never-changing you who is beyond birth and proveable in daily life. The terrible power the kings feel is the fear that their claim rests on a separate self; the moment you assume the inner throne as the I AM, you treat every seeming ruler—whether a president of a situation or a habit— as an effect, not a cause. The outer world bends to the inner law you accept. Therefore, you do not fight princes; you revise the sense of self into one that cannot be threatened.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly and feel the I AM presence as your inner throne; revise a scene where earthly rulers have no hold on you. Then declare, 'I AM the power that cuts off the spirit of princes' and allow that revised state to feel real in your body.
