Biblical Context
Psalm 76:11 invites you to vow to God and to offer gifts. Let all around Him bring presents that reflect reverent fear.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your vow to the Lord is not a ritual to appease an external deity, but a decision of your own consciousness to inhabit the state in which your wish is fulfilled. In Neville's terms, the 'LORD your God' is the I AM within you—the awareness that never changes. When you vow and pay, you seed your world with form, and the aspects around you—people, circumstances, thoughts—upgrade to meet that state. Let all that be round about Him bring presents unto Him—that is, permit every facet of your world to echo reverence for the state you claim. The fear is not dread but awe: a steadfast trust that the inner is the outer. To live in obedience is to align your thoughts, feelings, and actions with the assumption that your desire is already yours. Each offering you make—kind thoughts, generous acts, disciplined attention—is a gift to the I AM and a revision of your sense of lack into abundance.
Practice This Now
Make one concrete vow to the I AM within and declare it as already done. Then sit for a few minutes and imagine the gifts your vow calls forth, letting your surroundings reflect reverent support.
